This was our families first cruise and we loved it all. The ship, the food, the ports, etc. We had only one complaint and that was the pools were small. My kids went in once in a week.
Getting on the ship was a breeze. Got to the lot at 12:30 and we were having lunch on the lido in an hour!
Food: we loved the food- ate in the dining room only once. we had the later seating and found the food the same and quicker at the buffet. Our service was just OK the one night we did go to the dining room so we stuck with the buffet.
Room: we were in room 7286 - had the bunk beds. Room was nice. Plenty of storage space for 4. For our next cruise we will get a balcony but for our first cruise we were trying to keep cost down. Beds were SUPER comfortable. Bring a clock - that is a must- esp with no natural light. Dont know why they dont provide them?
Activities: plenty to do but got a little boring for the kids at times. They did not like the kids club - but they More didnt give it much of a chance since we traveled with friends. They loved the arcade and laser tag.
we LOVED LOVED LOVED Roger at the piano bar- MUST SEE!! Comedians were pretty good - liked the fist set better than the second.
STAFF: big thanks to Trevor & Rudy (bar tenders) and to Komong (served the drinks) very nice- they all work so hard.
Tips: it is nice you dont have to tip but we did tip extra after seeing how hard they work. Please pay the prepaid ones - theses people deserve it.
Ports: Cocoa Beach it rained but we went to a place called the Sandbar- place right on the beach - located near Ron Jon surf shop- so we shoped, ate and had a few drinks. Kids swam in the ocean in the rain. Would have been better if it was sunny. Was our only rainy day so I am not complaining.
Nassau: Atlantis - Awesome - loved it - lots to do and see. Also stopped by Senor Frogs- didnt stay because we had kids and that place was a little crazy
Freeport- went to Junkanoo (sp?)- was a free beach with paddle boats, kayaks. Also could rent waverunners. There was shopping and a little restaurant/bar with bathrooms - great place to go!
Getting off ship was a breeze! If you can swing it do self assist - get off much faster.
All in all we loved the cruise - will go again. We still like all-inclusives a little better but this was a great change. Go and enjoy - no complaints!! Less
