My husband and I were both new to cruising so we decided to start with a relatively short trip. We chose the 4 night cruise from Miami. DAY 1-We got to the port of Miami at about 11:30 and were onboard by noon. The lines moved very quickly. Our stateroom wasn't ready until 1pm so we walked around a while. I tried to locate all the place I'd read about here on CC. We had a quick drink at the Viking Crown Lounge. The view from VCL was awesome. Several couples were married on this cruise and held their receptions there. Nice choice! We did a little more walking around and then it was time for the muster drill. After that, we stumbled upon Boleros. This would be our hangout for the remainder of the cruise. The bartender Dillon was amazing. Every drink we asked him to create was flawless. Dillon and Boleros was the highlight of our trip.DAY 2-We arrived in Nassau around 8 or 9 am. We did the usual trip to Atlantis and shopping on Bay St. Nassau isn't horrible but I am in no rush to go back. The people can be a bit pushy but not at all rude or overbearing. We got back on the ship and had lunch at Compass Deli. This was by far the best food on the ship, a very close second to the MDR. We ate there at least twice daily. We also had a drink at the Schooner Bar. The bartenders were excellent and made great conversation. We had dinner at the MDR and the food was awesome. Service was a little slow but great nonetheless. DAY 3-We arrived in Coco Cay around 8 am. It is a beautiful place. It was by far the best part of the cruise. My hubby and I did the wave runner excursion and charged to our sea pass right there on the beach. It lasted about 90 minutes and was totally worth the money. The beaches in Coco Cay are just gorgeous. There is a small straw market there so we made a few cash purchases, everything else went on our sea pass cards. The BBQ that RC provided was pretty tasty too. I didn't want to leave Coco Cay!!DAY 4-Key West!! Boy, was it hot!! We had lunch at Margaritaville and got a ride to the Southernmost point. We took the cheesy/touristy pic and headed back to the ship. It was just that HOT! It's a cute and quaint little island. I'd love to go back during the cooler months. We followed our usual routine of dinner at Compass and drinks at Boleros. We were all sad and couldn't believe our trip was almost over. DAY 5-We received notification that we'd be disembarking at 9:40 am. The line was long but moved quickly. Save time by taking your bags with you instead of leaving them out the night before. We learned the hard way. Majesty was a great intro to cruising. I am already looking for my next cruise and I am sure it will be with Royal Caribbean. Every crew member we dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable.

Cabin Review

Tiny stateroom and bathroom but still had room for all our things. Good use of space.
