Background Myself 57 6th cruise 4th with Carnival and my spouse 59 5th cruise 3rd with Carnival. Son 40 daughter 30 and their mates 30 and 25 respectively all first time cruisers.

Flight red eye on Jet Blue from LAX to FLL. Flight was hour late leaving and nobody was able to sleep. So don't think I would do this again even though it was quite a bit cheaper. Used SAS trans. got a call even before we got to the luggage carousel. Picked up quickly and had a good driver Larry got us to the port in a flash. Checked our bags and were off to a little restaurant across the street form the port to have a bite to eat. Went back to port and got zone number 4 about 935. Were sent to check in Kiosks and we done and sitting down by 10 . People were coming off the ship until well past 1100 and the building was quite crowded until they finally started loading the ship. Got and went to lido deck and got some food and a drink maybe 2.

Cabin 6452 aft wrap was wonderful. Big deck but no couch . But I would gladly give up the couch for the view off the deck.
