I wanted to post about our Mariner Christmas cruise. It was beyond our expectations. We had the time of our lives. We had sailed the Mariner earlier this year and again, RCI impressed us in all categories. Our cabin was large, balcony deck 10, the steward attentive. The ship is absolutely lovely and well done and easy to navigate. The holiday decorations however were not what we expected, they were a little too low key, only one Christmas tree in the dining room and some garland on the stairways. I would have thought that RCI would have done more. We enjoyed the parade and theme nights, the Quest is, well, unbelievable, you will have to see it to belive it!

The food in all the venues was very good, but not "wow." The only exception to that IMHO was Chops, the steak was perfect, the service second to none. I wish I could have afforded to eat there every night LOL LOL.

This ship was on the Western Caribbean sailing and since we have been there before, we just walked around and shopped. The only exception was we finally made it to Margaritaville and had the famous drink which was probably the best I have had. I was feeling a little dizzy LOL. It really is a very nice place to take a break and there is shopping there also. Other than Dunn's River, it is the only thing to do in Jamaica IMHO.
