My wife and I are 48 and this was our 5th cruise. 2 with P&O and 2 previously with Thomson albeit a few years ago. We booked last minute to an inside cabin on deck 6 (cabin no 6026).

Arrival and embarkation at Palma was quick and smooth. Our cabin was not large but it was more than adequate in terms of size and was kept immaculately clean throughout our week by the cabin stewardess.

The ship itself is quite old and tired in places when compared with modern cruisers however all of the public areas are nicely presented. The lifts seem to have a mind of their own and would try the patience of a saint. They are also very small so more often than not after waiting several minutes it arrives and is full. The positive aspect of this was we pretty much gave upon them and used the stairs to get a bit of exercise to burn of the extra pounds from the holiday excesses.
