We boarded the ship between 1 and 2 p.m. on June 13th - smooth embarkation--little waiting.
Had an enjoyable cruise; a few comments about the ship. The Caribbean Pricess is a wonderful ship but there are so many passengers for the amount of "community space" on the ship. If you wanted to see the show at 8:15, you needed to be there about an hour beforehand to find a seat. I don't think this is the best way to spend your vacation time. This wasn't just once, but every night. I spoke with a lady who had early seating for dinner and got out at about 7:50 every night. They weren't able to find seats in the shows so they went back to their cabins, took a little snooze and set their alarms so they could catch the 10:30 shows! Also, I went to see a comedian in the Explorer's lounge; I arrived about 25 minutes before his show started and there was standing room only. I don't know if there aren't enough choices, or simply not enough space, but Pricess should look into this situation.
We picked anytime dining, and for the most part it was fine - I don't think we every waited more that 20 minutes to be seated. If you eat a bit later you generally don't have a wait or have a short one (after 7:30). But people begin lining up by about 5for the 5:30 opening. You can also make reservations if you like. Next time I think that we will choose one of the seatings.
We had an inside cabin P319; our friends had P323. I believe that one of the smaller dining room galleys was above us - in the middle of the night it sounded like they were rolling carts around - sometimes there was a lot of running. One morning it sounded like they were dragging chains across the floor.
Didn't have problems falling asleep, but if I woke up about 3 or so, it was a bit noisy to be able to get back to sleep. We were going to ask Passenger Services about it, but never got around to it. Not a huge deal, but sometimes a bit of a molestation.
