We had been looking forward to a little get-a-way time and relaxation with three days in Bermuda. It was the first experience with Celebrity and we decided to book a sky suite. Embarkation and disembarkation was easy and we were on and off the ship in 30 minutes. The ship was older but generally well maintained. The Captain runs a tight ship. Overall, service was excellent but there were a few problems. On Celebrity's website, they advertise services for their suites, such as "the luxury of European-style butler service, including: • Assistance with unpacking/packing • In-suite lunch & dinner service • In-suite afternoon tea service • Evening hors d'oeuvres • Complimentary espresso & cappuccino Unfortunately, our butler had a different view of service. He popped in the first night to say hello. No mention of the unpacking service. When asked about the espresso, he said they had some for sale on deck 5. He never mentioned lunch or dinner service or tea service. We saw him only when he delivered breakfast some mornings. One morning, he even forgot that. He did manage to come around the last day looking for a tip I suppose. If Celebrity is going to advertise these services and get you to spend $$$$ on a suite, they should at least be offered to you when you are on board.Food was very good but not exceptionable. The Normandie was excellent. We liked the buffet and the food at the aqua Spa cafe. One of my favorite spots was the European cafe'. The evening entertainment was great, the comedian was funny. The dancers and singers were very good and the piano player in Michaels was also excellent. The crew was happy and friendly. We thought that not letting people know that the select dinning guests must enter at one specific door was strange. As was closing down certain bathrooms at prime times of the day. Also, we had our only two excursions cancelled at the last minute.Bermuda was great. We rented a boat at Blue Hole Water Sports in Grotto Bay. We took a horse and buggy ride in St George and a tour with a local cabbie. Everything on the island was beautiful and the people are great. We took the ferry to St. George and Hamilton. It was the easiest way to get around. The Swizzle Inn had great drinks and nachos. There are little places to eat in Hamilton that are cheap and good. You just have to ask around.Overall, the ship had its good and so-so points. Im not sure if we had a bad butler or if all the suites share our problems but I give the cruise a 4 out of 5 overall.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 1

Cabin S1

Cabin looked worn. Some mold on the tiles and the carpet was worn down. There is an upgrade scheduled soon.
