This was our tenth cruise overall but first on Celebrity and can't speak too highly of this cruise. Real five star from start too finish.

Boarding took just 15 minutes from parking our car to going on board. Had to wait a while for the cabin to be ready but that was no problem as we had arrived early. Disembarkation went smoothly as well. No problems at all.

Cabin quite spacious with a very large shower. Reasonable balcony but slightly crowded with the furniture. Nevertheless very comfortable.

We chose the Select Dining option for our Dinners as we do not like fixed times and this worked like a dream. Whether we wanted a table for just two or were were willing to share there was never a problem.

The service and the food quality was exceptional and the choices offered in the menu's were really good. All meals that were taken in the restaurant, whether it was Breakfast, lunch or Dinner was always an enjoyable experience.

The entertainment on board was of quite high quality. Not always to our own taste but nevertheless very good. Some of the best we have seen on our cruises.

We found that the decks could be quite crowded on sea days with the usual bun fight for sun beds, but unless upgrades are available to the more exclusive areas which some ships have, this has to be expected.

The cost of drinks were quite high but once the exchange rate (US Dollar) and the added service charge are taken account then it does compare reasonably.

Overall our experience on the Celebrity Eclipse was superb and we go so far as to say the cruise was the best yet. ( previous cruises with Carnival, Princess and P&O ).We shall certainly be looking to use Celebrity in the future and would have no hesitation in recommending this cruise line to anyone
