Destiny makes an enjoyable cruise
Destination: Western Caribbean
My bf and I traveled with 2 friends this time. We got the porthole rooms which were perfect-inside stateroom price without being in a dark cave. We had no problems with the room or the housekeeping staff.
Actually all the staff (except maybe the photographers) were very pleasant and helpful if we needed it.
The ship is laid out exactly the same as the last Carnival ship I was on, so it was easy to get around.
The food was all around pretty good. The buffet is sometimes iffy, but we always found something we wanted to eat, even if it was just a burger. And the dinning room was wonderful, food was always good.
The ship was clean. Gym was a nice size and was only crowded for us because it had started to rain when we used it.
The only real complaint I would have was that there were a lot of people who More seemed to aspire to be on the "Jersey Shore" but that's hardly Carnival's fault. We just avoided the obnoxious ones and enjoyed our time. Less

Good, quiet location. Shower very big compared to other lines!Read All Porthole (PT) Reviews >>

Fat Tuesdays has delicious frozen slushy drinks which are perfect for a hot summer day.
Sloppy Joe's has great food and a laid back atmosphere which really speaks for the attitude of the people who live there.
There is a little stand over by the shipwreck museum that has the best conch fritters.
And you must get Key Lime Pie!
