For a short start of the summer cruise, this was perfect. It was a good price, a good time for vacation days and just a fun cruise.
My bf and I traveled with 2 friends this time. We got the porthole rooms which were perfect-inside stateroom price without being in a dark cave. We had no problems with the room or the housekeeping staff.
Actually all the staff (except maybe the photographers) were very pleasant and helpful if we needed it.
The ship is laid out exactly the same as the last Carnival ship I was on, so it was easy to get around.
The food was all around pretty good. The buffet is sometimes iffy, but we always found something we wanted to eat, even if it was just a burger. And the dinning room was wonderful, food was always good.
The ship was clean. Gym was a nice size and was only crowded for us because it had started to rain when we used it.
The only real complaint I would have was that there were a lot of people who seemed to aspire to be on the "Jersey Shore" but that's hardly Carnival's fault. We just avoided the obnoxious ones and enjoyed our time.
