More than a review, these are some things I learned on the cruise that I thought would be helpful to others traveling - especially with children.

1) Pack a carry-on bag with bathing suits or other clothes or things you'd like to wear or do once you get on the ship. It may take a while to get your luggage to your cabin. This way you can start enjoying the ship right away.

2) The bunkbeds are great! My kids (6 & 8) loved them.

Cabin Review

The 3rd deck on the Freedom of the Seas can be a bit noisy. The deck above is metal and is the lifeboat/walking deck. It's also where the shuffleboard is. We could hear the shuffleboard often. It didn't wake the kids or keep them up, but it did often wake me up. I could sometimes hear the people on the deck above as well - not enough to be a big bother, but something to be aware of. We were cabin 3558.
