I had an excellent holiday aboard the MSC Opera. The service was first class. All staff were friendly and attentive. Cleanliness was good.
I greatly enjoyed the food in the restaurant and in the buffet. The pasta and the cakes were especially good. There was always an excellent choice
There were times that the buffet area was extremely crowded but it was always possible to get a table when the restaurant was open. I feel that the wine in the restaurant sold by carafe was very reasonable at 7 Euro (plus 15% service) People have complained in other reviews about having to pay for water but water dispensers were available for use in the buffet areas. Free water was poured in the restaurant. It was only bottled water that was charged for
I especially enjoyed the classical concerts held some afternoons.There was a wonderful violinist and pianist and a fabulous tenor and soprano. The entertainment shows in the evening were high quality too.
Met some lovely people on the cruise. Would certainly be happy to cruise with MSC again.
