Sapphire Princes, 6-5 to 6-12 Alaska round trip from Seattle. Our 17th cruise first with Princess, mostly Carnival and Royal. First let me say if you take this cruise you need to come to Seattle a few days early and see the city. We stayed at the La Quinta air-port cheep and clean, they will shuttle you to the light rail. One half hour ride and you are downtown $4 all day pass.

We got a limo to the port $50 got there at 11:00 embarkation and debarkation a breeze, they started boarding at 11:30 and put our carry-on bags in the cabins and eating by 11:15. Our bags were in our state room by 1:00, we had a BB balcony A336 and A340 love the layout of the cabins better than Carnival but smaller.

This ship is very clean and in good shape, the crew was the best we ever had on any other ship. Our cabin was on the 12th floor just below the pools, some noise not bad just when you were on the balcony in the daytime. We were covered although we had no rain this could save your trip. Deck 11 is also covered but the rest of the balconies are open and we could look down and see every thing they were doing. And if there would be rain you could not use your balcony, these were the suites and mini-suites. I also saw some one drop a drink down from top deck and lucky no one was out at the time it would have killed them if they were on there balcony not a good situation.
