Sail Date: Jun 2011
Cabin: Balcony, obstructed view

We sailed on the QM2 in July of 2010 when we sailed from Brooklyn to Southampton. The second trip was on June 1, 2011 from Hamburg to Brooklyn.

The ship came highly recommended by my cruise partner who had been on the QM previously. His thinking was that crossing the Atlantic on a ship was much preferable to sitting in a coach seat on an transatlantic flight.

That part was correct.

Cabin Review

Balcony, obstructed view

Cabin DA

The cabin had an obstructed view, the life boat was in front.

However, that wasn't too bad considering the price we paid, plus we were crossing the Atlantic with not much to see.

The space in the cabin was adequate and so was the closet space.

The bathroom a little small but it worked.

The hairdryer that is in a fixed position in the desk is very poor with little heat.
