Background on us -- lower middle class I guess, laid back, 28 and 31. We can appreciate the finer things in life but the high and mighty hoity toity folks and rude people annoy us. I guess I call both no class. Don't sweat the small stuff. You're going on vacation to have FUN!

Drive from Tampa to Ft. Lauderdale: Wasn't bad. Left at 7:30, got there just before noon I think. My memory on that part faded fast after getting on the ship.

Parking: Used Quality Auto Rental through Airport Park N Go. It was a little place in an industrial area, but everything was just fine. Half the price of parking at the port and is just a few blocks away. They had a mini van and a cargo van to shuttle people to the port and back. Just had to call them when you got back and have your luggage ready at the curb. I think they were there in under 20 minutes, which I thought was incredible with all the traffic in that area.
