It seems like a lifetime ago that my daughter asked me to check out a Disney Cruise. So...like being a good mama, I did. I gathered info from different sites and then I asked for a cruise quote from a few online agencies.  So, once we received our quote, I was ready to forge ahead with the whole family..well, not, quite everyone as my husband had decided he didn't want to go. Now, for the shock, I am deathly afraid of water:) But, I made our ressies for April of this year and my addiction started:) Whew!! I spent hours asking questions, searching sites and almost daily asking questions of our TA. I joined a couple of chat sites, and wow!! I got my questions all answered and my excitement started as it was a reality we were going on a Disney Cruise:) My husband did decide to go along and I booked him and we had to move from and inside connecting cabins to deluxe family with verandah:) Now, I was scared to say the least. But, I put my trust in God and decided I would and could do this. My husband, had never flown, but, with this, faith and trust in God carried both of us thru. There were 8 of us on this once in a lifetime family cruise and we had an amazing time and memories to last a lifetime. From our welcome aboard to our cabin and our debarkation it was more than we ever thought possible. Dining was wonderful and we were totally cared for by Kristina and Dexter..our cabin host, Roland, was a delight and he left us towel animals every night...The shows were fantastic and we couldn't wait to see the next one..they kept us in awe and amazement:) Perfect for family entertainment and just so magical. The food was incredible and we found nothing that we didn't like..Nemo's Reef was great for my 2 year old grandson, and we had a tough time getting him out of there. My 4 year old granddaughter was a "princess" and was treated like one as well. The character interaction was superb...time and lines were great and the CM would tell us in line if another character would be coming along and what to do so that we could see them as well:) I took pillow cases for the 2 younger grandchildren and a photo mat for my 16 year old granddaughter so that the characters could sign them and that way we didn't hold up the very valuable time with characters. All this info I received from my Disney chat sites...awesome info from people that I have never met. I did speak to one delightful disser on the phone and we were hoping to meet up for a normal chat, that didn't happen as Disney had too many great things for us to do..We are currently saving money for another cruise and it can't come soon enough...no fears of the water once I was on board...thanks to my many many prayers and a God that will relieved my fears...we all loved the cruise and if anyone has questions?? Shoot them my way or any one's way on these chat boards...Dreaming of another cruise:)

Cabin Review

Cabin 5C

Well, first off, the cabin wasn't big enough to hold 3 adults and 1 teenager...Aside from that, the verandah was awesome, great and calming as well. We never heard any noise from the hallway, and we were fairly close to the elevators, perfect location for us as we had 2 small children. We did have connecting cabins and they worked great..easy for child care..Love the split bathrooms and info in room and on TV was a great help..
