First review ever so bear with me - My DH and I have been on the Wonder a few times and other cruises so we are not newbees. Here goes - On getting to the port (arrival about 12:30 as planned on line) going through security was a breaze. The port was mobbed. We approached the front desk and were informed to go to the Castaway Club desk as we are obviously members. We were never given a check-in number until we told the person at the desk when she asked what number we had. Absolutely hate the whole picture before boarding thing, ridiculous. Announcement was ridiculous also as there were 3-4 groups doing this all at once. If you were waiting for someone and wanted to hear their name, good luck. Went to the Enchanted Garden for lunch as we knew that upstairs would be simply crazy for buffet. We are not all the into being food critics so let me just say that throughout the cruise the food was only adequate. Our rotation was for this restaurant for dinner also. At least we had nice tablemates. We did not go to the first night show (Golden Mickies) as we have seen this and it is not one of my favorites. We did go on the AquaDuck which is a lot of fun. Love the jacuzzi.Day 2 - Went to Cabanas for breakfast. This is the most unorganized place I have ever seen. The CM's will stand there and tell you there are no lines, to just go get what you want at the individual station, but when you do this you are basically cutting in front of someone who will, of course, give you a dirty look to say the least. We have been to the Bahamas before so we stayed on the ship and played golf, shuffleboard, etc. Had a good time exploring the ship. Went to the Royal Table for dinner. Since it was our anniversary they came over and sang to us. Then, the head person presented us with a mini cake. All well and good except that he proceeded to tell me and DH to close our eyes and then he took our fingers and smashed them into the cake (such as cutting a wedding cake so to speak),yuck. Then, he proceeded to tell us to share with our tablemates... right, okay. Went to see Villians Tonight which was fabulous, love the main entertainer, very funny. We went to sit on our veranda for some "down time" before bed and heard a noise. We then noticed that the adjoining "flap" on the veranda between the next room and ours was broken and kept hitting against the side causing a "thump" noise. We used a shoelace and proceeded to tie this down to one of the veranda chairs so we and our neighbors would not have to listen to this. Here's a hint - if you are not going to use the wave phones at least make sure they are all charged. One of the wave phones woke us up at 3:00 a.m. by making a lovely loud beeping noise. Not a very good day, huh?Day 3 - Castaway Cay. Love this place. Wish I could go there for the entire vacation. DH and I rented bikes and rode around the island. Very inexpensive and quite fun. Had the usual Cookies lunch which was okay. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and relaxed. When we went back to our room before dinner, DH went out on the veranda and noticed that they had actually fixed the panel problem without us telling anyone about it. Pretty Disney efficient I must say. We had dinner at Animator's pallette. We had a terrible table that was situated pretty much in the middle of the floor with trays going overhead, children running and crashing into us. It is amazing how many unsupervised children there were on this cruise, no offense to anyone and I love kids. We were disapponted with Animator's. I guess all the buildup make me think it would be more than that. Anyway, tonight pirate's party and fireworks. This is one of the highlights of this cruise and is great, well done.Day 4 - Crawling along. I swear we were, it seemed like we were going nowhere. That is one thing I can say, this ship did not move at all during the entire cruise, no rocking at all. We enjoyed the ship during the day. We did go to see the Believe show which is not to be missed, it's fantastic. When we were leaving the ship I must point out that we used the Magical Express since we were going to be going to a resort after the cruise. We have never done this before. Debarkation was extremely quick and efficient to say the least. The CM's are quite helpful about getting you on to the right bus for your particular resort.All-in-all we would rate this trip a B- to a C. We did compare to others and the Wonder of course. I have to be honest, we do not plan on going on another Disney cruise at this time. Any questions, you can e-mail me at esmae56@yahoo.com. Thanks for reading.

Cabin Review

Cabin 5C

Disney Dream cabin 7086. Great location on a corner away from elevators and stairs. This cabin is almost exactly mid-ship. I could hear noise, almost though this was the "extenders" going in and out, sort of like a humming noise. There was a noise in the bathroom that sounds like "hissing" from the water supply. The bathroom was dirty for 2 days with a coffee stain near the sink. Kids were running in the corridors after 10:30 at night, not noisy, just running.
