`First the ship was not as grand or luxurious as i expected. It was small,but clean and most things worked. The cabins were much smaller than i expected. The swimming pools should not be classified as swimming pools- size wise they are more like Jacuzzis !
The rear or port end of the ship had loud music, and beer flowing all day and as a result we avoided it like the plague. It was like Blackpool by the sea !
Food was decent, without being exceptional. Bar service was very good, and almost always with a smile.
Trips ashore:- Valuable lesson learned. if you want to spend time at The Pyramids, Petra or Luxor, DONT GO FROM A CRUISE SHIP !!! All you will get is a flavour. You can NOT see everything due to time restrictions !
Finally I have to mention the 3 outstanding things about this ship.
1. The organisation of virtually everything was superb.
2. The singers and dancers who provided the evening entertainment were brilliant.
3. And finally ALL the staff, restaurant, bar, cleaners, management, whoever were absolutely 1st Class !!!---- Congrats to you all !!
