We traveled with 24 members this time. This was our 4th cruise celebrated my nieces sweet 16. We had suites so we were treated V.I.P. Right away we were greeted and escorted to a private room after checking in. We were introduced to our concierge Adrian and then we had lunch. When you board the Dawn you are greeted with Mimosa's and it is a little more exciting than the Jewell. After lunch we went to check out our rooms and were very pleased, except for a cesspool smell in the hallway. This was the 1st time we were on deck 8 not 9 so I am not sure if this had anything to do with it. The staff was amazing, our Butler couldn't do enough for us. We ate at mostly Specialty restaurants and were not disappointed at all, Cagney's is always our favorite and Le Bistro the Rack of Lamb was to die for. Desserts were luscious. Dinner at Tsars was awful. Portions small and presentation bad. Service was diner style.

Our first stop was Orlando. Don't bother stay on the boat and go to the spa. Total waste of a day. Beach was dirty and covered in jellyfish.Next stop was private island Stirrup Cay. Absolutely beautiful the water was Chrystal clear. We rented clams and there were plenty of chairs. The kids loved the slide and they had a buffet lunch. Bring cash for the gift shops. Our last stop we chose Blue Lagoon, which again was beautiful lunch was included and was okay, bring snacks with you as stores were pricey. As you get off the ship fill up with water and soda there as only a dollar for a bottle. Again plenty of chairs.

Will definitely book another cruise with NCL. The entertainment was great something to do every night. Spinnaker Lounge had lots of fun games going on "Dancing with the Stars", Trivia etc. Our butler Juramar delivered our coffee every morning promptly at 7:30, breakfast at Cagney's was a great way to start the day. There literally wasn't enough time to fit everything in as there was so much to do. The shops were great, liquor sales were almost 1/2 price. Nice jewelery too. Any reservation we needed was handled by Adrian with pleasure. He was charming. All in all we had a great time, would have like more time in Port and maybe an extra day in Stirrup Cay or Bahamas rather than stop in Orlando.

Cabin Review

Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SF

Although we had a Romance Suite 8630 our balcony did not have chaise lounges, which was really disappointing to us as we had them on our other cruises. Our view was wonderful, slept with our sliding door open. Bed was sooo comfortable and room was a nice size and quiet.
