This was our 2nd cruise, both on Carnival. First was on Triumph out of New Orleans. This time we selected the Conquest because it was out of Galveston and we are from Houston. First cruise was a 5 day, this time we selected the 7 day with stops in Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. We are a family of 4 with two children; male 14, female 12.We were surprised that the level of service on the conquest wasn't as good as we received on the Triumph. The food also wasn't as good, but similar choices. We even paid the additional money to eat in the steak house, hoping it was better....it was, but not worth the extra $30 per person. We complained to the guest services and Maitre'd. It got better after we filed a complaint. We were very dissapointed with Montego Bay, won't be going back there again! Grand Cayman was better, Cozumel was great! We did the shopping excursion in Montego Bay because there really wasn't much of a selection. What a dissapointment, they basically take you to a small strip center where everything was overpriced; then to Margaritaville and a small shop that rips you off if you arent' carefull; then off to a local craft market that was scary, my wife and daughter wouldn't even get off the bus!Grand Cayman was nicer. We did the dolphin adventure, Stingray and Turtle Farm. Dolphin adventure was cool, but short. Stingray was a joke, especially after doing the stingray excursion in Cozumel previously...basically just a couple of stingrays in a small 12' square pool. Turtle farm was neat, but is a self guided tour.Cozumel is amazing. We did the beach buggy and snorkeling at Punta Sur. This was by far the best excursion we have ever taken! Very professional and well done. Tour guide,Willie, was amazing! definitely recommended! On the Triumph previously everyone knew us by name and made us feel special. We didn't get that on the Conquest.Embarkation was a little slow....took about an hour to get on board, arrived at 11am. Debarkation was a breeze, we did self checkout (took our own luggage), and made it from room to car in about 30 mins!
