We had gorgeous weather which helps, smooth sailing, fabulous food at all eateries--impeccable service from all on board ship. Our "On shore" excursions were top quality--wtih a two Reef Snorkel in Costa Maya, a dolphin encounter at Roatan, a Jungle River cruise and Mayan temple visit in Belize and a Stingray Beach experience in Cozlumel. The guides were just super and very knowledgable. The entire staff of stewards, officers and chefs were top quality.

The specialty resturants on board provided lots of variety such as Shogun for sashimi and sushi and Le Bistro for gourmet French cuisine--fabulous meals. Our main dining room --Windows-- had fine gourmet entrees every night with lots of variety for all. The adult pool was a bit small, but we kept the children out in most cases as they had their own nice pool on the back of the ship. A few slipped into the adult pool when their parents were not watching--but this was minimal. The only negative for me was the Pub Crawl which got much too noisy all over the ship as participants bounced from Bar to Bar with a microphone and a very loud guide. This needs to be adjusted, but it only happened about twice during the whole cruise. That event messed up my afternoon nap. The activities were well planned and the entertainment on board was high quality-esepcially the Broadway revue. The poolside band was only fair, but the rest of the instrumental groups were top notch.

The ship was kept in top shape --clean as a pin throughout the seven days. The service people wer totally courteous and helpful. The Casino was exciting and the players seemed to be pleased over all with the atmosphere. I found the dealers to be friendly which provided a good setting for playing the games of chance. Raffles Buffet was great for breakfast and lunch. The ship is not a large cruise ship which I think is a plus, but it still can carry 2,000 passengers.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BB

Our cabin was alwasy clean--a fine steward provided attentiion--cute towel animals were created during out trip--Our balcony was nice, but a bit small. We had enough room for all of our clothes and accessories as you could put yoru empty bags under your bed. The room had a very nice shower with space. Great beds and fine water. Basically very fine rooms, but naturally we all would love more space on ships, but our room was more than adquate.
