we boarded the magic in barcelona on the 22nd may great excitement sudden disappointment the cabin was good unfortunately the ship has lost all its glitz and glamour the design was cold and uninviting compared to the costa serena, pacifica concordia as all the ships are built in the same shipyard in italy. Everything is geared to money making they have done away with little gifts etc for previous passengers everything is impersonal if you want to smoke you have to go outside one small area in the casino or the nightclub where the music is so loud its unpleasant so therefore no drink sales to us. The service on the buffet deck nobody bothers to clean the tables as the staff are to busy chatting no sabbath service no mass service the only ship I have ever been on without this. Having previously been with carnival 7 times previously my expectations were completley dashed the evening shows were very disappointing

john heald has lost his way the head line shows were dreadful everybody americans included were complaining it was the worst carnival ship they had ever been on. No captains cocktail party unless you were a previous client like ourselves disgraceful also the captain didnt even bother to attend it. shows how little carnival past clients mean to them food not great either never mind wont bother to book again with carnival.
