This was my third cruise and my third cruise line. My first was NCL around Hawaii, my second Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas around the western Med. I had wanted to see the eastern Med, specifically the Greek Islands so Celebrity Equinox suited my requirements. Relaxed dining, newish and visited the ports I wanted to visit.

Upon check in we were upgraded from a Sky Suite to a Celebrity Suite, and what a room! Separate lounge, plenty of storage, 2 huge T.V's, very helpful butler (not that we used him much) fresh flowers and fruit. Stunning! So a great start. The staff were fantastic, (except one in shore excursions, and she is certainly in the wrong job!) The ship was nice but lacked character compared to the older Navigator of the seas. The food was great, good variety and there were many great bars. Had it not been for the entertainment or should I say severe lack of,unless you were over 65 or wanted Latino music all day and every day, you were out of luck. We did get one night of 80's music of our 11, but this is not enough. I appreciate it must be hard to cater for everyone, but in a ship this size, I think it is not unreasonable to expect at least one room to have younger dance music (I am 42 and my husband 47 but we like to dance). The night club only played Latino music and which half way through turned into a Turkish rug Store. So as a consequence I would not sail on this line again. Which is a shame, as the rest was really good. Through conversations with others that we met, of a variety of ages, I know we were not alone in this thought.

Cabin Review

Celebrity Suite

Celebrity Suite on Deck 10 - Stunning! large deck, separate bedroom with own TV, corner lounge suite, with huge interactive TV, shower over bath, ample storage, in room safe, fridge. Good location, and very quiet.
