Busy cruise

Sail Date: May 2011
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We cruised on the Oasis out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on May 7, 2011. The embarkment and departure was the best I have ever had. Very Quick.

The ship is beautiful and very, very large. Be prepared to do alot of walking.

We had an inside cabin and there was plenty of room for 2.

The best meal was at 150 Central Park. It was wonderful.

The only real problem were the large groups of non-english speaking people onboard. They were very pushy, and didn't think twice about pushing you out of the way. Very, very rude.

I missed the closeness of the smaller ships. The waiters and the rest of the crew were so busy they had no time to visit and we didn't get to know any of them. The head waiter was even working in the dining room. There is one exception to this. A friend that went with us is a Diamond member and he let us come into the Diamond Club every night with her. His name is Allen. A very nice young man.

Kevin Spacey, the cruise director, More was the best. He was the assistant cruise director on the Enchantment Of The Seas back in 1999. He is super high energy and very, very funny.

This ship is a must do at least once. You will not be bored and you will have a great time. Less
