We decided to go back to Thomson's cruises after we had several on The Destiny and prior to that The Sunbird whilst Airtours owned it. We went on the Costa Pacifica in December and after the worst cruise we ever had on that ship with rude staff, terrible food and really bad entertainment we decided to head back on Thomson again and boy so glad we did.We boarded on Palma and the embarkation process was effortless and within 15 mins on arrival at port we were on the ship and luggage arrived 15 later at the cabin.Reading all the reviews I was slightly concerned but all those bad reviews in our opinion were rubbish. The food was amazing and always hot and well presented. The cabin was in spick span conditions and rather large in size. The staff and crew were extremely friendly and could not do more to help. The choice of entertainment was amazing and the entertainment team need to complimented as this was the best entertainment I have ever experienced on any cruise with well executed shows that would be on a par with any west end show. I work as a manager and agent in the music industry and I like to think I am hard to please but I was very impressed. The ship is being upgraded as we could see new flooring being laid and constant repairing being done. The Dream is an older ship but what it lacks in being modern it makes up for in every other way.Don't let the bad reviews put you off as you will not be disappointed, we have done several cruises with RCI(4), Carnival(2), Costa (1) and Thomson is still our favourite. The value for money on board is great but I would go for all inclusive drinks package even if you are a moderate drinker as soft drinks, coffee, cocktails are all included.one last thing, we did not meet one person on the ship that was complaining and that is a first. Everyone who was on the ship all said the same that nothing could be faulted and people who did should not go cruising!!!Enjoy!

Cabin Review

Cabin IN

large inside regular cabin, well decorated, lacks in drawer space slightly but everything about this cabin was great.
