millenium panama canal - a top cruise experience

Sail Date: April 2011
Destination: Panama Canal & Central America
Embarkation: San Juan

i selected this cruise for its best itinerary. i was glad to realise that the price was very attractive too. we are a very experienced couple about 60 years old. the ship was excellent in every aspect.

our balcony cabin was refurbished and very good. deck no 8 is very good.

the choice of ports was excellent and many tours were offered.

all the public areas look attractive and i didn't see signs of old.

the entertainment was very good with dozens of items to choose from.

the food was great. the main dining room is elegant and the service excellent.

the casual dining room had all you could want to eat and was active most of the time. because of the quality, quantity and service of these two great free restaurants we didn't eat at the more elegant olympic restaurant.

the service of the crew all over the ship was unbelievable excellent - the best we experienced in our 30 years of travel to more than 100 countries.

this cruise was More excellent in every aspect - a top cruise experience. Less

Cabin review: Celebrity Millennium Concierge Class Panorama Deck (8) 8094

the balcony rooms on deck 8 are better than on deck 9 because deck 10 is very large and takes the sky view of deck 9.

Port and Shore Excursions

acapulco is very impressive from the sea. we took a tour to all the golf of acapulco and the cliff divers. it was a sunny day and was very impressive.

we took a tour by boat to see the cliffs. very impressive.

we took a tour of the forttress and old city. we enjoyed the tour including also some dance show.

we took a tour of panama locks, the lake and the embera indin community. the tour was expensive but enjoyable. the indian community was excellent.

we took a tour to the monteverde cloud forest. it takes about 2.5 hours each way include long way on dirt road. the walk on the 10 bridges is nice but you dont see any animals or birds - only the trees.
