Ship: Unpleasant odors sporadic throughout ship. Staff: Pleasant and helpful for the most partDisco: If you enjoy Hip-Hop 98% of the time, then this is the ship for you We enjoy all types of music except heavy metal and hip hop.Food: Main dining room food was terrible. Most fish dishes not good except for the salmon. Buffet dining room better than main dining room. The New York Deli was the best.Restaurant: Tile floors appeared to be slippery after two days probably from grease.Maitre'd - Was asked to give a tip in an envelope. We never even met the Maitre'd.Room: On 9th floor with balcony but unfortunately below the fitness center so we had the pleasure of listening to people running on the treadmill from 7:00 a.m until 10:00 p.m. The overhead noise was totally irritating.Smoking: There were designated areas but it seems that people ignored this and the smell of smoke was in many places including on our balcony.Photos: Photographers were everywhere constantly trying to get photos so that you could purchase them. It was annoying.Amenities: It seemed that Carnival nickel & dim-ed you everywhere you turned. An example is they offer Yoga & Pilate's class in the fitness center but at a cost. Instead of service, it was received at a cost. If you wanted soda you had to pay for it.Captain party: Cocktails were at your cost which I have never encountered before.Shows: Very good. Comedian - goodShip Decor: NiceShip Director: His mission was to get as many excursions sold rather than offering alternatives at each port and giving guidance if an excursion was not being taken.This trip showed a lack of a good Food & Beverage Manager and Chef on this ship.
