As one of Holland America's Oldest ships this ship did her job magnificently. With only 1258 passengers the was always room to look at everything, everywhere especially going through the Panama Canal. During the day for a few hours over a 10 day period they were working in the Engine Room. This created a bit of noise but as we were not in the cabin much it was not a problem. The personnel were top of the line and were always ready to great you with a smile on their face. The food was good and plentiful. The wife and I were careful but we stilled gained a couple of pounds each. There are two pools on this ship, a fresh water amidships and a salt water back aft. Both were used quite well by all. The Cruise Director Anthony did a magnificent job and a big job it was. Well done Holland America Robert & Lorna
