Sail Date: May 2011
Cabin: Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Embarkation: 5 minutes, beautiful ship, forget the balconies over Central Park or Boardwalk, unless you enjoy being watched and watching people. The view from our 11th floor Central Park was as if you were in NYC and your building was taller then the other condo's as you looked down and saw all the skylights from the Promenade. Make your reservations early for the shows; they are the best on the Ocean. The food: Main dining room was fair at best. The specialty restaurants are as better, but not extraordinary, Chops can not compare to any special steak restaurant, 150 Park Central is very nice, the wine list is very expensive, and Giovanni's was very nice with many different items available. Breakfast is not available in the Windjammer because it is so small and crowded, the Solarium was best for breakfast and lunch. Park Central Cafe is as good as everyone reports but very small, Johnnie Rockets is Johnnie Rockets.Make your reservations early for the shows; they are the best on the OceanThis ship caters to the family, and even though it was the 1st week in May there were over 400 children on the ship and they eat late and stay up very late. I'm not a smoker but ½ of the pool deck & casino is devoted to smoking not that pleasant.Make your reservations early for the shows; they are the best on the Ocean The shows are the best on the Ocean, make your reservations early. This is our 16th cruise and the ship and entertainment is extraordinary, but once is enough, but you must try it once. Enjoy
