We flew to San Juan and boarded the Serenade of the Seas on APril 30, 2011. Our itinerary included 5 islands: St. Thomas, St. Croix, Antigua, St. Lucia and Grenada1st port: St. Thomas ..has beautiful beaches and great shopping..tons of jewelry shops and you can bargain with them. We did an excursion to Maegan's Bay which is considered one of the most beautiful in the world. The excursion on the beach only lasted 2 hours which wasn't long enough. But since it was the first day we didn't want to get too much sun with 2 other beach excursions that we booked. All of our excursions were booked with Royal Carribean and strongly recommend booking with cruise line. Now for the ship...we were 100% satisified with the food, service and entertainment. We were amazed how little rocking we felt on the ship. We ate breakfast in the Main Dining room and also the Windjammer. Lunch was in the windjammer and we ate dinner in the main dining room. We had a 6pm dinner seating which was great as we were finished by 7:20pm..then strolled into the casino for a bit and then went to the show that started at 9pm. If you take the later dinner seating then you have to see the early show at 6pm. The waiters were so accommodating and nice. There was 2 formal nights and yes..people did get very dressed up but we didn't and no one said anything to us. We did wear nice pants and my hubby wore a nice shirt but no jacket. I didn't even bring a dress. So all in all we had a fabulous time..lucked out with the weather..hot and sunny! Would definitely book another Royal Carribean cruise!

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

First time we had a balcony and we loved viewing the sites from it.

Our stateroom was on the 8th floor.
