My wife and I sailed out of Tampa on the Carnival Inspiration in May 2011. This was my first cruise and her 4th. Our ports were Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Food: We dined in the the Mardi Gras Room during open seating (5:45-9:45). Our three waiters were amazing! They all knew our names by the second night and frequently asked us questions and interacted with us. Our drinks were never empty and our food kept coming. Francis was our head waiter, Ketut was our Asst Waiter and there was one more guy from Bosnia but I cant remember his name. Stateroom: We stayed on the Upper deck in an oceanview room (U54). Our room was extremely clean! Our stateroom steward was very friendly and got to know us by name. He would see us all the way down the hallway and scream our names and ask how our day was. His name was Michael and he always made sure our pool towels were clean and everything was good. Nightlife: Visited just about all the bars. Cocktails were $7.25 and Beers were $5.75. All of the bar tenders were friendly. The comedy shows (Adult only ones) were very funny but a little crude. All of the other shows were very eligant and nice. Staff: EVERYONE was extremely friendly. The ship was constantly being cleaned. Everyone says good morning/afternoon/evening. They always have something going on during your sea days. The Only Bad Thing: The Pool is too small for 2,000+ people but there are 4 whirlpools. The back serenity deck was nice. No kids!
