We flew into San Juan a day early and stayed at the La Concha in the tower. This is a great hotel! Very modern--clean lines, modern artwork. Gorgeous pools and it's Right on the beach. We had a king Suite and loved all the room we had. That night we walked down the street and ate at a place called Miro's! Highly recommend this place. Food was amazing! Service was fantastic. Can't say enough about this restaurant! We sat out front but there is seating inside as well. The food is Spanish mediterranean based. A little pricey but worth it!We hung around the resort Sunday morning and headed to the ship around noon. We got right on and went up to Windjammers to eat. The ship is in very good shape for it's age. In fact, I like it much better than the Caribbean Princess ship. Our room was ready at 1:30 and our luggage was waiting for us when we got there. The room was fantastic-- a ton of storage (walk in closet). Our water was delivered around 2:30. Great service! We did the my time dining at 6:30 and loved it! The food was very good and there were a lot of options. Our waiters even went out of their way to bring my son some veggies that weren't on the menu every night. They remembered what we liked every night as far as drinks and we really enjoyed them.We did Portofino one night and that was wonderful as well. Food was amazing and the service was excellent. The food in the Windjammer was fine. Mostly ate breakfast there. My son loved the teens program and he had a blast doing everything there was to do. He did the rock wall, ice skating, in line skating, golf, basketball, and ran the track. Loved it! He enjoyed most of the teen activities and made some fast friends. The only negative was that he did not like the man who was in charge very much (I heard this from some of his friends as well). He skipped the dance parties and karaoke (sp?) but loved all the rest. Just a note-- during the port days they do not have a lot of activities until the evening-- not a problem for us as we were in the ports most of the time-- but parents may want to be aware of that.Monday was our day at sea and we just generally relaxed most of the day up on the pool deck. My son spent the day in the teen program. We did go and see the ice skating show-- it was good and worth seeing. Below are my port reviews.Loved the availability of activities on the ship. The service was excellent. I also loved the quieter areas like the library and some of the lounges. We signed up for the Old San Juan walking tour on our return to Puerto Rico since our plane didn't leave until later. The tour was really fun-- but it ended up being cut one hour short due to someone signing up who had an early plane departure. Next time we'll walk the tour on our own.Overall-- we had an excellent trip and were able to see some of the islands we haven't been too.

Amazing amount of storage! Loved the balcony! Overall the room is in good shape! The only complaint was that we had to ask for more shampoo and conditioner.
