My husband and I decided to cruise Allure to truly see the difference between large and small. Our final decision.....SMALL.
PROS
boarding - No time at all
Ship was beautiful,
entertainment was OUTSTANDING (5 star),
very friendly crew.
food good.
Lots to do for kids
Walk off (we were off by 6:00 a.m.)
CONS
Not much to do while at sea
Solarium pool (COOOOOLD)wish I had a picture of every face that stepped into the pool...Funny home video style.
Shops are too expensive
My time dining (great seating, but too impersonal) Not profesional photos taken. Waiters do not have much time. Prepaid tips (Head Waiter came to our table twice and seemed to have other things on his mind) And his tip was pre-paid.
Not enough ports
cabins are smaller
Boardwalk Balcony cabin noisy at night until around 1:00 a.m.
