We took the first flight out of Philadelphia Sunday morning . Got to Ft Lauderdale by 10 and took a cab to the port . We were on the ship by 10:45 in the waiting area and onboard by 11:15 am . A nice day to explore the ship! Got in our room at 1:00 . We overlooked the boardwalk which seemed nice at the time. Later it was a bit noisy for us, but still interesting to see everything! We were please to see that the balcony was still outside and actually got sunshine part of the day! I didn't realize it was open air! We could see the Aqua show from the room. Be aware that there are late shows and movies and if you are an early sleeper, than you may be able to hear the sound from your room! Most nights we were exhausted and it didn't matter. Dinner was Anytime Dining which we liked the times we reserved, but think next time we would like to be at the same table each night for the Waite staff to know us. I have a garlic allergy and had to inform the staff each night. We liked the people we sat with and actually ended up with the same people a few times. We did not book specialty restaurants and wish we had. Book all shows ahead of time. That really helped but still get to them at least a half hour in advance. The lines are long! Liked all shows, but the best was Blue Planet! The pool areas are great but saving chairs was an issue People get out at 8 am and put stuff on them, so just be patient and hope they leave after lunch ! Only one day was a problem getting a chair. Solarium is beautiful for quiet time! The ports were ok I recommend side trips to see the towns. Shopping is ok, better in St Maarten. Heard that the trips were great in St Maarten We went to Megen's Bay in St Thomas and that was a nice 3 hr trip and still time to shop.

Long walk to our room, so if hate walking then ask for room near elevator. For lunch we really liked Park Cafe. They make grilled paninis there and it was less crowded than the Windjammer. We carried our own luggage off for Express Checkout and we were off ship by 7:30. Really fast ! All in all, great trip . Nice classy people aboard. Some families and singles but no real craziness like on some ships. Plenty to do for every age category. We were exhasted by evening and didnt stay up too late! Casino was nice, many low minimum games, especially the first night. Zip Line and Flow Rider were fun. Do them first day for no wait at all ! We would return, but maybe on Oasis next time!
