This was the best cruise ever. It was my first but i enjoyed it so much.

I am going to review all the ports i did with the best information. If you have any questions please send me an email and i may be able to answer it for you. Sarahmkelly@live.ca

I am doing a review of each poort i went to but here i will talk about the ship. Our cabin was one deck 1 second last room from the back. I love being aft because all we had to do was take the elevator up to deck 4 and we were at out dining room and up to deck 9 for the adult pool and buffet breakfast. The only thing was that we could hear the engine or motor at night but it didnt keep us up so if you wake easily you might want to try more midship or up a fee decks. My parents had a balcony last year for thier first cruise and this time an inside cabin with no window. They didnt miss the balcony at all. The only time we were in our room was to sleep so we didnt need it. The bathroom and closets were all the same size the More only thing that was different between the two was the couch and desk were not in the inside cabin. My bed came out of the roof since there were three of us in the room. Of you are going to be 4 peoplein the room i suggest getting 2 separate cabins. It would have been less room if both beds were down from the ceiling. On carnival the kids cubs go to 17. So as an 18 year od you are considered an adult. So i got to play in the casino and go to the adult comedy and adult pool and the adult dance club. You will need your picture id around the ship if you are close to 18 or look young. They always had activities going on for the kids. If your not going to put your kids in these activities dont let them run aroud the ship and being hoolagins. There were these 4 kids around the ship that were always breaking things and running around and going in opposite gender bathrooms. The food was delicious. I tried things that i never though i would eat. Why not,, you alrdy paid for it. Please check out my port reviews

i will do my half moon cay review on here since its a private island and its not an option as a port review. Best day ever. Total full beach day beautiful water and white sand. It was a tender port. People who had booked a shore excursion or a cabana got an express pass to be first off the ship. We booked a cabana and we will never do half moon cay again without one probably. Air conditioned hut with snack and veggies and dip and fruit and 2 cans of pop each. Sooo worth it. Also comes with snorkel gear for everyone and water floaty mat things. We had cabana 3. Last one to choose from and we actually liked it alot. I wouldnt get cabana 1 or 2 if you wanted to be away from people. The beach started to fade out of people around our cabana but people set up thier beach chairs right in front of our cabana trying to get in the shade of the tree that was planted by our cabana. Number 4 was a perfect one too. No one was around thier cabana because there was no tree to provide shade. If your less then 4 people in the cabana say your 4 people anyways because you get more food and drinks. We went snorkling first thing before people got there to scare off the fish. It was soo cool to swim over the fish. Theres a bar on the lsland and you get a big buffet bbq lunch. And the rest of the day we just floated in the water. I rate half moon cay 5++++++++ Less

Cabin review: Carnival Glory Interior Riviera 1463

Great spot. Little engine noise. Easy to get to all places.

Port and Shore Excursions

So in grand Turk we rented a jeep. We took a trip to the light house which I don't reccomend. It wasn't that great. Then we went to jack's shack, just down the beach from margaritaville. Jack and his wife are so nice and his dog is very friendly. And they have free wifi! Very cheap in comparison to margaritaville. And really good food. Mmmmm. Beach volleyball and not crowded beach. We spent almost the whole afternoon there and then went to margaritaville just to swim in the pool for an hour. Then went to the shops right outside margaritaville and then back on ship.

So we got asked by a guy if we wanted a tour when we got off the ship. It was 10$ a person and guaranteed so if you didnt like it you wont have to pay. Nothing in okd san juan ( all the good cheap shopping) opened for another hour so he said take the tour and ill drop you off in old san juan. Mom was skeptical but we did it anyways. And omg it was the best tour i have ever takin. He was so smart and knew everything. He originally from brooklyn new york amd met his wife here and now lives here. He was rly funny and could prob be a comedian. He dropped us off at the fort for people who wanted to look at the fort. That was definetly worth the 3 bucks a person to get in. Then we walked to old San Juan for shopping. The buildings are soooo beautiful. All the colors and shapes. The shopping was very good. I'm not being very informative but here are some of the shops we seen. Tommy hilfiger, coach factory, ralph Lauren, marshalls, rainbow, crocs store, jelwery stores. Lots of souvenir shops. We went back on ship for lunch and came back out for a cold stone creamery ice cream for dessert. Old San Juan is only 15 min walk from the ship.

When you get off at every port there is always taxi man and tour guides asking if you want a taxi ride or tour. We didnt do a tour. We did the skylift to paradise point. Not worth it at all. The famous bushwacker drink was good but not worth it to go up there amd get it. The nature walk at the top is rly nothing and the carnval at the top is just some ferris wheel and trampolines. After that we took a taxi to down town only 4 dollars a person and went to market square. Lots of really good deals and brand name purses and sunglasses. We went back to the ship for unch and came back of to go shopping at pueblos ( a huge supermarket and very cheap) then i went to rainbow clothing store. My favorite store that they dont have in canada. There is a subway and a wendys near the ship if you wanted to go there for lunch. They drive on the left side of the road there and every car looks like its been in several accidents so be careful walking around. There is meagans bay and a famus beach in st johns that people went to but we didnt bother because it was kind of overcast skys. Hope this helps
