Beware of the Pre-cruise packages they offer. Timeshare presentation is involved, but nothing we couldn't handle. Also check which Hotel they book you at and where the Cruise post is...also is the transportation to the ship included? We were in a great Hotel (Ramada Fort Lauderdale) but FAR from the cruise port and it cost us $60.00 to get to the ship.
Easy Embarkment compared to some ships we were on in the past. Easy set up of Ship account. Room was spacious as this is an older ship. Clean and we got an upgrade to an oceanview with our hotel package. Great stewart staff. Friendly and professional. If you are looking for high end this is NOT the ship for you but we enjoyed the extra space in the cabin.
The ship was easy to navigate. We never got lost once. Lots to see and do if you choose. But like other ships lots of places to just sit and relax also.
The Entertainment was okay. Again this is a small inexpensive ship, if you are looking for Cirqce De Solie you will not find it here. But Comedy is comedy and magic is magic. There is also a casino on board.
The food was good. Actually our formal dining experience was a bit too fancy for us. We prefer casual dining which there were options for as well and equally as good quality.
We booked the Day at the Lucaya Resort. Beautiful place. Our Buffet lunch was dissappointing but once we realized that the B-B-Q outside was included the freshly made burgers made up for it! There was lots to see in the general area with the Resorts all within walkling distance. Casinos, market shops, resturants and local jewlery and art. Friendly people. Which brings us to another beware - of the young men who approach you constantly on the beach trying to sell you illegal substance. It was very annoying and made us feel unsafe even with the hotel security around.
Debarking was slow but again we have experienced worse. The Shuttle driver was right there on time where he said he would be. We had prepayed and booked at the Hotel.
Overall nice time. We would travel again on this ship, especially just to travel over to the Bahamas to stay for a few days.
