This was our 4th Princess cruise. We have done Alaska, the Panama Canal and the Greek Isles. We did the back to back two week cruise stopping in San Juan in the middle. Food was good, the shows were good and the singer in Crooners, Heather Sullivan was excellent. We liked our suite and balcony. Our biggest complaint was cleanliness and staff apathy. The staff seemed over worked and marginally interested in whether or not we had a good time. This was everyone through out the entire cruise. We were just kind of in the way. If you wanted a drink, an answer to a question, directions, anything...you had to go find someone and maybe they would help. They did have hand sanitizer at the buffet, but no one was encouraging anyone to use it. We had a very large number of passangers just walking by the sanitizers...someone needed to point them out. No one was ever seen wiping down hand rails or public counters (on other ships, people were always buzzing around wiping all the public touch points.) We saw crew in hazmat suites decontaminating an elevator and a section of the dining room...it did not instill confidence. I stood outside the ladies room by the Princess Theater one afternoon talking to a friend from 1:45pm to 2:15pm. I then went to use the facility...it was filthy and two of the three toilets were stopped up, but on the wall the cleaning checklist had the 2:00pm and 3:00pm hours checked that the room had been cleaned. Clearly, no one came in at 2:00pm and since 3:00pm hadn't arrived yet...there was some cheating going on. WeWe are cruising to Russia in 2013...we may try Celebrity.
