Sailed on the Caribbean Princess April 17 - 24 out of San Juan, Puerto Rico.We stayed at the Courtyard Isla Verde the night before. We are normally a high ended hotel type couple but really enjoyed this hotel and the services. We had been upgraded to a penthouse suite which was really nice with just a few drawbacks. The suite is on the Riviera Deck which means you are just below the Lido deck i.e. chair noise and early morning noises. It did not really bother us much but several mornings we were awakened by something loud rolling across the deck above us. But that being said....take the upgrade if it is given to you!!!! The room was very nice and large with a big deck. Loved the full breakfast delivered to our room each day. We don't enjoy going to the buffet and having to wait for people standing at each area staring at food like it is going to do something! Service was excellent in our room also.Cruise was busy with 5 stops. Normally we like more days at sea but didn't do much at every stop so that was ok too. After the cruise we stayed one night at the Doubletree hotel. Nice hotel, good service, tiny pool and no beach. For one night....it was fine.

Cabin Review

Great balcony, loved the size of the suite, noisy above on the pool Lido deck sometimes. Great service.
