For starters, we are first time cruisers, so we had mixed feelings about our expectations. Some people who have written reviews regarding this ship, may have had specific issues, but let me assure you that this was a great introduction to the freestyle cruising. We booked our cruise through Costco. The sign-up / booking was very easy, and we received the appropriate welcome kit as needed which explained many of our questions we may have had. In Miami, the bags were easily dropped off , and the parking was very easy to locate. Parking at that time 4.18.2011 - 4.22.2011 was $80.00. The room stewardess, Ana Lyn, was by far the most friendly staff member aboard. She greeted us every morning by name with a smile, and in the evening with goodnight smile. She was very easy to find everyday, she helped us with towels when we needed them for the Great Stirrup Cay adventure. She is the face that I will place on Norwegian Cruise.....she was excellent. The food was excellent on the cruise, it had good variety, fresh taste, and the only time that we did NOT enjoy the food was when we were on the Norwegian Island "Great Stirrup Cay". The food there was cold, and appeared to have not been heated properly. I would highly recommend this ship for beginner cruisers, as the staff was friendly, the food was good, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I am looking forward to our next cruise with Norwegian.
