Best Introduction To Freestyle Cruising for First Timers
We booked our cruise through Costco. The sign-up / booking was very easy, and we received the appropriate welcome kit as needed which explained many of our questions we may have had.
In Miami, the bags were easily dropped off , and the parking was very easy to locate. Parking at that time 4.18.2011 - 4.22.2011 was $80.00.
The room stewardess, Ana Lyn, was by far the most friendly staff member aboard. She greeted us every morning by name with a smile, and in the evening with goodnight smile. She was very easy to find everyday, she helped us with towels when we needed them for the Great Stirrup Cay adventure. She is the face that I will place on Norwegian Cruise.....she was excellent.
The food was More excellent on the cruise, it had good variety, fresh taste, and the only time that we did NOT enjoy the food was when we were on the Norwegian Island "Great Stirrup Cay". The food there was cold, and appeared to have not been heated properly.
I would highly recommend this ship for beginner cruisers, as the staff was friendly, the food was good, and the atmosphere is very relaxed.
I am looking forward to our next cruise with Norwegian. Less
Cabin review: IB Inside
Room was very small, tiny bathroom, toilet lid must be shut to flush. Hair dryer was located in the desk near the Bible, not in the bathroom. Enjoyed the towels arranged like animals each evening.Read All Inside (IB) Reviews >>
Port and Shore Excursions
Entrance has small tourist shops and taxis are available to Port Lucaya which offers a few variety shops" small markets / bars.
Taxi Ride $10.00 round trip per person. They will provide a ticket...ask for Shirley, she is HILARIOUS!
Do not ride the mopeds....they are crazy down there, even drive on the left side of the road. No stop lights are on the island, can's even remember a stop sign.
Never again-Stay Away
Worst Cruise Ever
Won't be sailing the Sky again...
