On December 18, 2004, myself and 3 of my friends boarded the Jewel of the Seas for an 8 day holiday cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. This being my fourth cruise (Star Princess, Island Princess, And Cruise West) I was looking forward to enjoying my first experience on a Royal Caribbean ship.
Embarkation:
Smooth as silk. It was quick, the staff was friendly and within 5 minutes from the time of entering the terminal we were on our way up the escalators to enter the ship. After a quick group photo we were on board.
