I'll use the six star system for this review. My wife and I live in the Houston, Texas area and she cannot fly right now, so a cruise that leaves from Galveston (1.2 hours away) was perfect for us. We have cruised the Mediterranean and the Eastern Caribbean on Celebrity before, but never Royal Caribbean or from Galveston before. We were very pleased with everything. We drove and parked at "Galveston Park N Cruise." This was enclosed parking for the full week, $65 total charge. The parking is directly across the street from the Cruise terminal, there is no shuttle, so you walk across the street after parking. This is not a problem, since I dropped off the bags and my wife at the terminal first, 5 stars.Boarding was quick and easy, the reception was very nice. Nearly all of the passengers drove to Galveston, they were from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and New Mexico mostly. All were pleased they did not have to fly.We were not expecting Celebrity food, but the food was nearly that good. We had an outstanding waiter, his name was Vulcan (Turkish) and he was so good we ate in the main, select your time, dining room every night. Service 6 stars, food 5 stars. We had a Grand Suite and the decoration and comfort were very good. The room attendant was very nice, room 5 stars, service 6 stars. Our suite concierge was OK. He was good, but very busy and had to take care of too many. 3 stars.Entertainment was good. We especially liked the parade on the shopping deck and the ice show. 5 stars. We visited Jamaica, Grand Caymen, and Cozamel. Cozamel was the best, especially the cooking class we took. But, both Jamaica and Grand Caymen were nice also. 5 stars. We ended in Galveston, which is a very nice stop also. The Strand is worth visiting, as well as Moody Gardens. 5 stars.
