This was mine and Hubby's second cruise! This was our first time on the Elation! We went with friends who were cruising for first time. We arrived about an hour early. Porters were available to help with luggage. Parking in parking deck was easy. Boarding went quickly. Once on board we went straight to Lido deck for Lunch. At 1:30p we were allow to go to our rooms. Cabin was very clean and our cabin crew were very friendly! Our luggage arrived shortly prior to early dinner time of 6:00p. First night was "come as you are". Food was always wonderful. Our Servers were great. And I can't say enough good things about the Chocolate Melting Cake! We had breakfast and lunch in Tiffany's which is the Buffet. Some lines were a little long but understandable when trying to feed 2,000 people. Of course we made numerous trips through there during the day to get the ice cream! Yum-yum! We watched both the Rock & Roll show and Win! They were both well done! Also, got to see several Comedy acts. The "over 18" Comedy show did get a bit "Mature" but we were warned prior to attending. Karaoke was fun to watch but we did not participate. Games were also fun to watch. We played Bingo and visited the Casino. We also participated in the fundraiser Groove for St Jude. I did enjoy the towel folding class! Drinks were offered frequently as well as photo opportunities. Poolside music and activities were fun. We did luggage assist and we were off the ship around 9:30am. Hubby and I both got some much needed rest, enjoyed some good laughs and made some new friends. We had a great time and look forward to cruising again in the future.
