Fandabbydoo cruise very well looked after.on arrival at the terminal we was whisked aboard and shown our room, to be honest i will never have an inside room again, we didn't know what time of day it was EVER! princess put clocks in the rooms please. our cases soon followed and was very well organised, we unpacked and went walkabout wows i know the ship is old but very impressive as the year before we was on a ship with only 450 passengers.there was a buffet in the horizon dining room which set us up as we had been travelling all day from Orlando. food was great and over the course of the two weeks we ate there the most, my wife and i just couldn't do the dressing up lark it came across as beat the Jones on clobber you wore.there was no problems with the cruise and the ship catered for all our needs, plenty to do and whilst the wife was at bingo i would go play golf on the putting green, we purchased the soda package at the beginning as we don't drink alcohol nows as much so any bar would fill the insulmug they gave us to keep. i also on arrival went to the pursers desk to opt out the gratuities daily charge of 11 dollors per person per day which i thought was outrageous. i tipped the cabin staff and waiters at the end of the cruise and at least i knew they got the money. also at the bars there is a 15% charge per service on drinks. there is a pizza and burger bar open lunch times and evenings till 12 which came in handy for that snack lol.The weather was great and for Feb's we had some sun so did some sun bathing and we sat down by the adults pool so was handy for the quick dip, i must admit i didn't see hardly any kids about, maybe all at school phew!My only quibble really is the islands we visited and don't get me wrong its not princess fault but these big ships dock in the islands ports where all other shipping goes on and most of the time are far from the towns/cities of interest, so if you hadn't bought a trip in advanced which is costly you stayed at port which has a few shops designed for tourists so be prepared to be ripped off. these islands all sound nice but the worst one was st Thomas what a dive and if your disabled like my wife is you would find walking very bad as the Rd's and pavements are very damage and craters with grills over them which you could easily get a foot stuck in. There was dock workers having a shouting match and one to remember you cannot take any alcohol on board to your room all booze bought is handed in when you board and you receive the drink at the end of the cruise.we found the docking time very short on some islands but hey ho i suppose ur just dabbing your toe for a few hrs in the experience on the said islands.overall we did enjoy the cruise experience but now done wouldn't do it again i do enjoy exploring and island hoping isn't the way.
