embarkation and disembarkation was a dream and well organised, once the cases were on the plane we didn't see them again until they were at our cabin door!this happened on they way back as well so our cases did not go through customs and were not weighed.the entertainment ranged from average to good.the headliners did 2 shows a night and were average apart from 2 sows reel to reel and the 70's show .the food was disappointing i returned some back to the kitchen it was inedible!we had chips and fish and mushy peas then when the extra veg came we were offered mashed potato and peas ? i also had a steak of which no exaggeration at least 2/3 rds of it was fat, this was also the case with the beef!the food overhaul was no better than my local pub and the quality very poor!the 17 restaurant was fabulous service and quality of food excellent although you have to pay an extra £20 per person for the privilege (worth it)this was also the case for the sindhu restaurant the fee here was £15 pp also the verona restaurant(Italian freedom dining) was good .the price of drinks on board was the same as most pubs £2.80 ppint cocktails £4/5.the staff seemed to nearly all come from india and hardly smiled ,were surly and sometimes almost rude.the cabin steward was good and no complaints there!overall the ports were good and the trips value for money my wife and i would probably go on P&O again but wold expect the food and service to be of a better standard
we were in cabin d121 which was forward of the ship this was a superior balcony and was of an excellent standard and very spacious and although we hada problem with the toilet flushing (our fault)couldn't fault it
