I reviewed the cruise critic reviews before booking my cruise so I thought I would return the favor for those considering this cruise.Suggestion: If you book a suite, you won't be sorry - frankly we found it is the only way to travel on a cruise. The benefits outweigh the addition $ 200 you may have to pay vs. a regular room. The benefits include:- Priorty Embarkation day of arrival - this was worth it alone when you see the lines for security and boarding for those with regular rooms. - Butler and concierge service throughout the cruise- Exclusive access to Cagneys Restaurant for Breakfast and lunch - Personal invite to Captains reception in the Garden Villa area (level 14)- Personal Tour of bridge for all suite + higher rooms - Early access to Chocolate Lovers buffet (there were only 15 of us in there 1/2 hour before it was opened to the public)- Priority disembarkation - this was also worth it -we met at 8:15 am. and were off on the curb waiting for our car by 9:00 a.m. :)))There are so many more perks I can't remember but it was great and well worth the extra money.I won't go into detail about the weather because we had a crappy week of weather due to storms that hit VA, NC and FL the prior few days - the stabilizers were on but it was still quite rocky The room was exceptionally large for a ship and the balcony was great - definitely go with the rear of the boat if you are considering a suite - DON'T go with the front of the ship or you will not be able to use your balcony due to wind (this was a complaint from fellow passengers on our cruise)The beds in the suite were to die for - it was the most confortable bed I have ever slept in. The specialty restaurants were well worth it - I highly recommend:Cagney's SteakhouseChin ChinTeppanaki (not sure if I spelled it right) was OK - not the best Japanese Hibachi I have ever had) Tex Mex was pretty good too The gym was good - equipment was new and in good working order. However, took 1 spin class for $ 10 fee and the bikes were so old and in need of repair - the class was good but the bikes were terrible! I didn't use the Spa but they did run specials on port days The GSC island looked great - we didn't go over as the seas were pretty rocky - they actually use Ferry's to bring people over and back which was great. The water where we were anchored was absolutely beautiful and as blue as the sky - wish I would have gone A few negatives I need to mention were:1. The buffet was constantly busy - no matter what time of day and there was NEVER enough seating - we rarely went there as it was so annoying - people park themselves and stay for 1-2 hours - it's crazy 2. The pool is very small and always crowded - you need to reserve your chair fairly early to get a good spot and I find it too close for comfort down by the pool - as you are right on top of each other 3. The elevators are very slow and over crowded - Keep in mind that my negatives are probably evident on all cruises and not specific to Norwegian - just wanted to mention it :)4. Nassau was gross - I had never been there and was shocked when I saw the city - it was pretty run down and a little scary at times - my suggestion is to book an excursion/tour with the ship so your transportation is included - many taxi drivers were waiting at the pier for passengers however, they fight amongst themselves to get your business and they pile you in like sardines to get the most $ for the trips - Lots to do on the boat if you extend yourself - you can play bingo, go to seminars, lay around, drink, see shows, gamble, etc.... Don't forget, a cruise is what you make of it - so don't expect to wait for an invite to entertain yourself - every day they give you a list of activities the night before and you pick and chose how you will spend your day.Lastly, be mindful of how much you spend on the cruise - my bill was $ 1100 - with no excursions (the $ 1100 included 1 to 2 glasses of wine per day, Water package, 1 hour of internet service, $ 100 in souveniers, and 6 nights for 2 people of specialty restaurents) - kind of pricy for 6 nights.I hope this review helps you make a decision :)

Cabin Review

Penthouse with Large Balcony

Cabin SF

Cabin was great - suite 10164(back of boat) - the cabins are sound proof - never heard anything - balcony was nice and big and exclusive - although you have neighbors, you never see them :)

Beds are extremely comfy in the suites - I could have laid in it all day it was so comfy - with plush comforter..:)

Storage was good - big closet which you can put your empty suitcases... drawer space was limited but we made due and we brought alot of clothes.
