Embarkation.....fantastic, once everyone started talking and relaxing around new folks everything was fine.....Group 17....Made our way up to Garden Cafe for a bite to eat and then ventured out into the cool NY weather so wife could have a smoke. We made our way into our state room around 2:45...No problems there....baggage arrived, all is happy. Stewards and Staff thru out the ship were nothing but fantastic...How they can put up with some the crap that people put out is beyond me. My wife and I felt like we ere living in a five star hotel. Overall trip was relaxing and free-styling if the way to go. With every trip there is a down side: OVERCHARGE....holy cow Batman....I think NCL wanted to empty my bank accounts......Look $31.60 for six beers, they charged 14.99 per person on the shuttle bus in Florida, then they tell you last bus is at 6:30PM, ship says you need to be on-board by 9:30PM and only one drop off point. Big point to say....Buyer beware. We stayed on-board when they pulled into Stirup Cay.....glad we did.....dam those rough seas..... :) I'm still looking for them...I did 20 years in the USN, never saw this one coming.....light chop and I really think they wanted no scratches on the ship. Weather that day FANTASTIC...just a little windy. Nassau - not much to say...especially when two other cruise ships pull in...wandered around for a while....back to the ship...spent the day at the pool, seemed like most folks did the same. For us trip was relaxing...for eating at the buffets up in the Garden Cafe and Great Outdoors nothing but fantastic (Washy, Washy) Catherine will make you smile all day. Tsars and Azure were good, staff takes care of you. Think really hard about getting excursions through NCL, your not in port long enough anyway. Hope this helps, I will most likely sail again on NCL, I learned alot.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Cabin fine for two folks, or family with one young child. We had thought about bringing our 19yr old son. Glad we didn't pull out right on top of the king size bed.
