My husband belongs to an organization that arranged this cruise along with a travel agency. We were enticed by the itinerary especially Egypt. As others have stated we were re-routed to other ports due to the problems in Egypt. Ok...next time skip Izmir!I think a longer stay in Athens and Croatia could have been better and having 2 days at sea. We were very disappointed in the dining experience, charging for water and coffee. The breakfast buffet was a big disappointment, powdered eggs, rude people, rationed coffee. At dinner our waiter was horrible, never smiled, would not substitute food items on the menu.We had the loudest, obnoxious Italians next to us! The food was mediocre, not very Italian. They put the bright lights on after dessert...signal to leave? The shows were okay, the entertainment in the lounges was boring. The ship's stores and spa were a rip-off.The casino was the usual filled with smoke, not too crowded.I was embarassed( being of Italian descent )by the rudeness of the Italians on board. I think Sophia Loren would be appalled.....afterall she did christen this ship. The best part of our trip was after the cruise 3 days in Venice...oh we did have great weather!
