We sailed on Noordam last year and liked it so much we decided to go this year on the other half of the 20 day cruise . Everything was great ! Great service , our stateroom ( 6070 ) worked really well with 2 showers and 2 sinks.Noordam is in great shape and I found none of the "stained carpets " referred to in some previous reviews . Dining room food was excellent , as was the food in the Lido. ( We don't like the Pinnacle ). It appears they have increased the size of dining room portions for dinner . Just enough to eat without overdoing it . The ship never felt crowded , everything was well organized . The shows were entertaining , including 2 comedians , one of which "Skinny German Juggle Boy " was hilarious . We go to all the shows but the Noordam singers and dancers are our least favorites .The weather was perfect , shore excursions were well organized . Our stateroom stewards did a great job . Thank you Hary and Erick !If you go to the piano bar , say hello to Danielle the beverage server , she is delightful. Tell her "Mr. Frank " said to say hello and you'll get a free drink . ( OK , just kidding about the free drink ) . Almost afraid to try a different ship because we might be disappointed compared to the wonderful service on the Noordam. Even the front desk was a pleasure to deal with .
