We reviewed many reviews before we sailed on the Azamara Journey, mostly 5+ rating, I must say they whole experience was better than 5+, from joining our Virgin Atlantic flight from Heathrow to returning to Heathrow 14 nights later. We were thrilled the way we were able to get to our hotel on South Beach within a hour of the aircraft touching down at Miami airport (a great start). The checkin process at Miami port was simple and very slick, we boarded around 1pm and the rooms were already ready for occupancy. The ship is small so easy to find your way around (unlike the big ones where it takes days to find your way back to the room), the staff simply go out of there way to help and are always happy to chat, not just on the first day, but everyday. We were at sea for four days on the cruise and we never had any issues of getting a sun lounger, or using the gym which was fantastic. The room was bigger than we expected, although there wasn't must wardrobe space, the whole ship was extremely clean and always had a nice fresh smell, along the corridors, stairways etc.The food in all the restaurants was excellant, there was always something very good to eat and obviously the wine was included with your meals, and if you wanted it was also free flowing.Would we travel on Azamara again, absolutly, as long as they keep the prices competetive then we would always choose Azamara first
