About us: We are middle-aged parents with an 11 year old. We don't drink very much, only visited the casino for an hour and were first time cruisers.

General Thoughts: I loved every minute of the cruise after embarkation. Aside from seasickness (which was no problem for us), I cannot think of a reason for anyone to be unhappy cruising on the Inspiration.

Embarkation Process: We selected the "fly aweigh" option with Carnival. If we were to do it again we would opt to fly in the day before the launch date. It would have been more relaxing to have a day of rest before going on the ship. We got to the port around 2:00 p.m. and the lines were long and slow. We waited a long time to get our tickets checked and go though security before going reaching the official registration desk. Once in the upstairs registration room everything went smoothly. The embarkation process left room for improvement.
