We don't like 2-class ships!!!

We have cruised before, but never before have we been made to feel like second-class passengers. Cunard have a policy whereby those who have 'suites' have separate areas reserved for them to swim and sunbake, a separate section of the lounge with newspapers each day (not available to other guests), separate restaurants. Need we say more? This really spoiled our holiday.

Overall,the standard of service on the ship was good and the shows were good too except that. as we had to have dinner at 6pm (main sitting) and the show didn't start until 8.45pm (to allow for those in the suites to finish their dinner) there was quite a long gap in between.

We chose to eat three meals each day in the Brittania Restaurant as we do not like buffet meals. Unfortunately, however, the ship kept on running out of fruit yoghurt and branflakes between ports. Most unusual!!!!

We will never set foot on a Cunard line ship again! Less

Cabin review: Queen Mary 2 (QM2)

Cabin was a little cramped compared to those we have had on other cruise lines with balconies. There weren't enough hangers for such a long journey and neither were there enough drawers. On other ships we had a much larger TV screen and we feel that the cabin and balcony were looking rather tired and in need of refurbishment.
